Loulou de La Falaise (1948-2011)

Loulou de la Falaise has been a longtime muse to Yves Saint-Laurent and helped to inspire his 1966 female tuxedo and see through blouses.

Meanwhile, she became renowned for creating Saint Laurent’s accessories line and being his studio’s official spokesperson.

La Falaise died at her home in Boury-en-Vexin, France, on 5 November 2011. The cause of death was not specified, other than as the result of a "long illness".
